Large Birdnest Jar #4326

This one of a kind piece is truely unique. Starting with a large glass jar, it is filled with all sorts of primitive goodies. The main feature, nestled in some moss, is a large twig wreath. Inside are some eggs, hand colored feathers and a bird. Behind the bird are an array of paper elements. A antiqued encyclopedia page depicting bird eggs and nests, a vintage photo and an old calendar. The top is finished with tea stained muslin and cheese cloth tied on with jute.
