Baby Shoe Bird Nest #4601c

For this piece, I repurposed a few things. Starting with an old baby shoe, after layering vintage music paper on the tongue, I filled it with diffent types of moss and a nest. Inside the nest are some eggs, feathers and a clock. Laced onto the shoe is a handmade bauble. I then mounted the shoe in a bed of moss onto a paper mache' box that was painted, covered in paper and distressed. This item is one-of-a-kind.
