Garden Heart Mixed Media #4619

Starting with a vintage heart tin that I found at an antique store, I covered the inside with a word tissue paper. Once sealed, I colored and distressed the background. After layering paste and paint, I attached some different elements I pulled out of my stash. After that I filled in the hear with various paper flowers that I cut out and hand colored. There are also a couple of mushrooms made from clay that were painted. The piece is finished off  with the saying "she was herself again in the garden".
