Starting with a blank 4x4 canvas, I started off covering the canvas with various colors of paint. Over the paint is a crackle layer that was antiqued. For the focal point, the nest is made from cardboard and jute and there is a die cut bird and paper leaves in the nest. The wording on the top reads Mrs. Eurace Pettigrew She stood her ground.
